- What is COMMON?
- COMMON is a padel pozo tournament in Madrid, running every two weeks. Good levelled games, a social atmosphere, and a drink after. For expats and locals alike.
- What is a "pozo" format?
- King-of-the-court style. You play 15-minute mini-games — win and you move up a court, lose and you move down. Every game you get a new partner and face your previous one.
- How long is each event?
- 1.5 hours of play.
- What does it cost?
- €20 per person. Fresh balls, a cold drink, and a racket if you need one are all included.
- What levels are available?
- Two levels: Beginner+ (rating 0–3) and Intermediate+ (rating 3–6). Pick whichever matches you best.
- I've never played before — can I still come?
- Absolutely. Complete beginners are welcome at Beginner+ events. It's actually a great way to get a feel for your level as you go.
- Do I need to bring a partner?
- No. Partners rotate every game, so you can show up solo.
- Where do events take place?
- Rio Arena Padel — C. de la Verdad, 20, Carabanchel, Madrid 28019.
- How do I book?
- On the website. Each event has its own page with booking built right in — simple and quick.
- What if an event is full?
- Sign up for the waitlist and we'll reach out if a spot opens up.
- What's the cancellation policy?
- Let us know as soon as possible — ideally at least 48 hours before — and we'll either refund you or move you to another event.
- Where can I follow along or ask questions?
- Instagram is our main channel. Follow us at @wearecommon.madrid and DM us with anything.
